Sorry for not having been around much of this week.
The wife and children decided to conspire to become +++ unwell at the same time, which meant one important thing.
No one to look after me.
And we all know the world revolves around me so I refused to accept this distortion of reality.
I had Gollum and the 6ft White Wabbit look after the spawns of hell and ignored the lump under the covers in my room as figured she was only looking (fruitlessly) for attention. This morning Heidi croaked she was losing her voice, which initially I thought a Godsend though realising someone else would have to read books to the evil gremlins I decided to wait at work until they went to bed.
Gollum and Wabbit figured it would be easy, though Gollum has since offered me his Ring (I had to be careful and clarify that one) if I took them back and Wabbit fell back onto the needle in order to cope.
Even those with supernatural powers fall by the way when confronted with my Children of the Corn.
It's either that film or another close analogue would be to remember The Boys from Brazil.
Scary stuff.
