End of another week that finds me reposed typing out the songs of others, sometimes the tune makes sense but hardly ever, more like a cacophony erupting from stage left and then disappearing down the isle towards the audience, me scuttling after the noise, catching snippets but not grasping the meaning and therefore not receiving the message that hides in there somewhere.

Finding the truth in songs may be more than I could handle though, imagine finally understanding the sound of music and discovering the meaning of life was epitomised by Julie Andrews?

But truth can be thought of as a many sided thing,

like a die,

a twenty sided one.

Tonight I rolled a 13 and heard Iron Maiden belting out Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner.

No stranger tale than stopping every third passer by to tell how you killed a bird, essentially killed the crew and then redeemed yourself by wishing well to the thousand thousand slimy things that became your only companions.

Coleridge must have had fun discovering that truth,

Though I would have drifted to the same place would I have been allowed an opium addiction.

Time for beer and whiskey.

The Grey Madness, Gollum, his 6000 year old dog and the 6ft White Wabbit.
