Friday the 13th.
Rather an auspicious day and number with which to end Connor’s first week at school.
And as I recall I did warn all last week about The Ascension.
Normally I would have looked ahead to foresee and plan the appropriate sacrifices though I seem to have gotten lost in my thoughts, at least I think they’re mine, some days its hard to be sure with thought insertion and all, that doesn’t bug me so much as even if they’re not my thoughts it still means I have something to think about or wonder about or try and get out of my head – no, it’s thought withdrawal that pisses me off, hate a vacuum, as does nature, though I believe I abhor it more.
Yeh – I hate the quiet mind, so used to the unquiet, the chaos and disorder, within the maze remains an answer, don’t want to find it though, completion of the project could mean I win termination, why else would I be retained? No longer needed, unless another mess is created for me to play with, and in this world one would have to admit there are many born every minute though that is outside, if there is an outside, perhaps indeed it is all a creation of my disordered mind destined to come to a crashing halt when whatever the ‘Holy Grail’ is, is found.
Shouldn’t look too hard then.
I should return to the topic of Connor.
An extension of Heidi and I, a construct of us both, good and evil battling together in such a young vessel.
Though I have seen the mark of The Beast and his plain rationalization of why he hit a boy (2 years older and larger than him) in the head was also indicative of which path he was treading.
He had The Four Horsemen around the other day, which was weird on some counts and horrifying on others – weird as no one has been able to get them to sit cordially around a table for 478 years and horrifying as they actually came in black tie. A passing Social Worker saw the event and naturally had to be disposed of prior to her reporting the ‘abomination’ (they have no sense of community). Death did his usual, Decay matured the meat, Fire cooked her to preference and Pestilence waited for Decay to work longer on his piece so he could enjoy the maggots. It was a truly enjoyable time and then I was asked to leave so they could talk business – this I was happy to do as a little knowledge may be dangerous but trust me, too much can be fatal.
I tried to tell Heidi of the great event that had taken place though she was only interested in the small mushrooms with blue under bellies floating in my beer, whiskey and coffee.
Strange girl that one.
It will be interesting to see how Connor develops and grows into his role, I am not sure of the powers he will have, I mean he isn’t The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, well not that I know of, I should ask Dad just in case, but at this stage we will play the “This is Reality” card and keep to that premise.
I turned up home today, almost on time for once, to find Heidi with her friend Lisette and all the children swarming around them, another sign of importance.
Lisette is part Dragon and part Wolf, so if you look at the blend this makes her dangerous. Nothing to do with the Dragon or Wolf, just the female part.
Though it does fit the mold, no?
Having her here on Friday the 13th, the end of the 1st week of school for Connor after turning 5, with the moon not full but blood red in the sky, and the new neighbours black dog howling in a way he hasn’t before, a mewling cry, not mourning but welcoming.
The usual behaviour, attire and appearance of Ascendancy and Power these days will not be accepted as it was back in the Holy Lands during the Dark Ages; we have to play things a little closer to our scared chests.
And it will be so,
That a child is born with innocence and knowledge,
And these both will fight,
Like twins,
Until they understand,
See and recognize each other for the first time,
It is then that his power becomes.
He will appear on a driveway with a closed gate,
His helmet will be crooked,
He will ride upon a blue bike with trainer wheels,
And twenty 5 year olds will follow with him.
(Can’t think of a better definition of Hell).
The Grey Madness, Gollum, his 6000 year old dog and the 6ft White Wabbit.
